To elevate Black Sheep’s usual mid-year sale, I re-imagined it as the Solstice Sale. Featuring a toned down visual identity, centered around a singular hero animation of counter-rotating circles. Overlaid on gradients, existing photography and video. This gave the campaign a refined, cohesive look while efficiently showcasing products from collections with distinct concepts.

I designed and developed the Solstice Sale FAQ/ presale landing page which features a dynamic gradient background. The website takes the users location (opt in, defaults to Brisbane), pulls location based sunrise, solar noon and sunset data. This informs the gradient background which reflects the time of day of the user. The user can also ‘Play God’, allowing them to manually alter the time/ the gradient. Experiment here.

* There’s no noticeable difference in gradient/ data in my video example above when I ‘use my location’ as I’m located in Brisbane.
